Brad is drawn to the complexity of truth, struggle, imagination, and hope in the human experience, all of which are epitomized by the founding of the great experiment that is America. And the ongoing campaign to fulfill that promise.
Like many of us, Brad is responsive to ways that he, as one citizen of 300 million, can further those values, our communities, and our nation to be better versions of ourselves. This includes documentary projects and programs involving civil rights and Constitutional justice; citizen journalism related to public service at the local and state level; a run for South Carolina Statehouse as an independent with a third party; and engaging in community dialogues with common sense, factual evidence, and non-partisan independent thinking. All drawn from a commitment to the basic standards of truthtelling, inherent to Constitutional principals.
These actions are organic but Brad believes in collaboration with allies and friends from across the political spectrum. Each of us can step forward to make a positive impact in the public square as we tackle complex issues, on our own and by developing productive cohorts.
Contact Brad if you’d like to bounce ideas on how to best do this.
